1. NAME

1.1 The name of the league shall be Cricket Banaega Name, hereinafter referred to as “the League.”
1.2 The League is solely operated and administered by the Organization, which is committed to maintaining the integrity of tennis-ball cricket and ensuring the safety, discipline, and well-being of all players and members participating in the League.


 

2. OBJECTIVES OF THE LEAGUE

A true sportsperson competes within the rules and the spirit of the game. Any action that undermines this spirit harms the sport itself. Cricket Banaega Name is founded on the core values of fair play, respect, equality, and sportsmanship, including graciousness in defeat and humility in victory.

The objectives of the League are:

2.1 To promote the highest standards of tennis-ball cricket and provide quality playing facilities.
2.2 To uphold the spirit, traditions, and laws of tennis-ball cricket at all times.
2.3 To ensure equality, inclusion, and a duty of care to all participants, regardless of age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, color, social background, sexual orientation, religion, or belief.
2.4 To actively promote anti-racism and racial equality within the game.
2.5 To take strict disciplinary action against any participant or official found guilty of racism or racial abuse.


 

3. MEMBERSHIP OF THE LEAGUE

3.1 Membership of Cricket Banaega Name shall consist of all players, officials, and participants who are formally registered and actively participating within the League’s approved structure.


 

4. GOVERNANCE OF THE LEAGUE

4.1 The League shall be governed by a Board of Management, hereinafter referred to as “the Board.”


 

5. APPOINTMENT OF BOARD MEMBERS

5.1 The Board shall consist of up to seven elected members, each serving a three-year term. Two to three members shall retire annually by rotation and shall be eligible for re-election.
5.2 The Board shall elect its own Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and Secretary.
5.3 Each Board member shall have one vote, with the Chairman holding a casting vote in the event of a tie.
5.4 A minimum quorum of four members shall be required to conduct Board meetings.


 

6. MANAGEMENT OF THE LEAGUE

 

6.1 Cricket Banaega Name shall be managed through various committees responsible for organizing, administering, and regulating League activities.

6.2 Governing Committees

 

6.2.1 Management Committee

  • Ensures smooth day-to-day operations of the League

  • Oversees compliance with all Codes, Rules, and Regulations

  • Enforces the League’s Code of Conduct

6.2.2 Disciplinary Committee

  • Investigates disputes and breaches of rules

  • Enforces disciplinary measures in accordance with League policies

6.2.3 Organizing Committee

  • Manages event planning, match scheduling, and player coordination

  • Oversees logistical arrangements for League events

6.2.4 Technical Committee

  • Supervises technical equipment and facilities

  • Ensures operational readiness for matches and events

7. TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR COMMITTEES

7.1 Each committee shall establish its own Terms of Reference, defining member appointments, roles, responsibilities, authority, and powers.

 

8. RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE LEAGUE

8.1 The League maintains a comprehensive framework of Codes, Rules, and Regulations to prevent improper conduct on and off the field, supported by a robust disciplinary system.
8.2 All registered players and officials must comply with the following mandatory policies:

  • Code of Conduct

  • Anti-Doping Policy

  • Anti-Racism Policy

  • Prevention of Malpractices Code

  • Anti-Bullying Policy

  • Missing Children Policy

  • Child Safety and Security Policy

 


9. INVESTIGATIONS AND DISCIPLINARY PROCEEDINGS

9.1 Allegations of misconduct or rule violations shall be investigated by the Disciplinary Committee, with matters referred to designated officials where required.
9.2 All participants are required to cooperate fully during investigations.
9.3 Participants found guilty may face penalties, including suspension or cancellation of registration.
9.4 Any cancellation of registration shall be non-refundable.
9.5 Decisions made by the League’s committees shall be final and binding, with no provision for administrative or judicial appeal.
