(For Players & Team Officials)
1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION
The Management of Cricket Banaega Name is responsible for the operation of the League. This Anti-Doping Code for Players and Team Officials (hereinafter referred to as the “Anti-Doping Code”) is adopted and implemented as an integral part of Cricket Banaega Name.
All Players agree not to engage in any form of doping violations, and all Team Officials agree not to encourage, conceal, facilitate, or enable any such actions. This Anti-Doping Code is established to ensure that all participants adhere to the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and fair play, in alignment with the World Anti-Doping Code and applicable regulations.
2. CONDUCT OF PLAYERS
2.1 All registered players are automatically bound by and required to comply with this Anti-Doping Code.
2.2 Each player agrees and undertakes:
a) To familiarize themselves fully with the provisions of this Anti-Doping Code, including prohibited substances, methods, and conduct.
b) To submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Management Committee and/or Disciplinary Committee of Cricket Banaega Name for the hearing and determination of any alleged violations.
c) Not to initiate or pursue any legal proceedings inconsistent with the jurisdiction of the Management Committee or Disciplinary Committee.
d) To ensure that no prohibited substance or its metabolites or markers enter their body.
e) That lack of intent, negligence, or ignorance shall not constitute a valid defense if a prohibited substance is detected.
f) That refusal, evasion, or failure to submit to sample collection without compelling justification shall be treated as a violation of this Code.
g) That possession of prohibited substances or methods shall result in disqualification and cancellation of registration.
h) That trafficking or attempted trafficking of prohibited substances or methods shall result in immediate cancellation of registration.
i) That administration or attempted administration of prohibited substances or methods during any competition or League activity shall result in disqualification and cancellation of registration.
3. TESTING
3.1 The Management of Cricket Banaega Name shall design and implement a test distribution plan and may engage accredited third-party agencies to conduct doping control tests in compliance with international testing standards.
3.2 All players are required to submit to doping control testing at any time, at any location, with or without prior notice, upon request by authorized officials.
3.3 In the case of players below 18 years of age, testing shall be conducted in the presence of a parent or legal guardian, with prior consent. Such consent shall not be unreasonably withheld.
4. SANCTIONS
In the event that a player’s sample is confirmed positive for prohibited substances or methods:
The player shall be immediately disqualified from participating in any League matches or activities.
The player’s registration may be canceled, and all fees paid shall be non-refundable.
Additional sanctions may be imposed as deemed appropriate by the Management Committee and/or Disciplinary Committee.
All decisions regarding sanctions shall be final and binding.
5. LIST OF PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES
The list of prohibited substances and methods includes, but is not limited to:
a) Peptide hormones, growth factors, related substances, and mimetics
b) Hormone and metabolic modulators
c) Diuretics and masking agents
d) Stimulants
e) Alcohol
f) Narcotics, including Mitragynine and Tramadol
g) Glucocorticoids
h) Telmisartan
This list may be updated from time to time in accordance with applicable anti-doping regulations.
6. AMENDMENT & INTERPRETATION
6.1 This Anti-Doping Code may be amended periodically by the Management of Cricket Banaega Name. Any amendments shall take effect from the date specified by the Management.
6.2 Headings used in this Code are for reference purposes only and shall not affect the interpretation of any provision.
6.3 If any provision of this Anti-Doping Code is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to remain in full force and effect.
