1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

1.1 The Board of Sports in India and Nimble Sports and Events Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) are jointly responsible for the operation of Cricket Banaega Name (hereinafter referred to as the “League”). This Prevention of Malpractices Code for Players and Team Officials (the “Code”) is adopted and implemented as an integral part of the League.

1.2 The Managing Committee of Cricket Banaega Name has issued and adopted this Code to ensure transparency, fairness, and integrity, and to eliminate any possibility of malpractices within the League. The Company seeks to provide an effective framework to ensure that all participants conduct themselves responsibly and refrain from any activity that may violate this Code.

1.3 The Managing Committee has constituted a Disciplinary Committee to administer, investigate, adjudicate, and decide upon all violations, disputes, and matters arising under this Code.


2. CONDUCT OF PARTICIPANTS

2.1 All participants of Cricket Banaega Name, including Players and Team Officials, are automatically bound by and required to comply with all provisions of this Code.

2.2 Participants are deemed to have expressly and impliedly consented to the collection, processing, storage, disclosure, and use of information, including personal information, relating to their participation and activities in the League.

2.3 It is the personal responsibility of each participant to familiarize themselves with this Code and to comply fully with its requirements, including submitting to the authority and jurisdiction of the Managing Committee and/or Disciplinary Committee.

2.4 Participants shall not initiate or pursue any legal proceedings in any court or forum that are inconsistent with their submission to the jurisdiction of the Managing Committee or Disciplinary Committee.

2.5 Each participant shall remain bound by this Code for the entire duration of their association with Cricket Banaega Name.

2.6 Decisions of the Managing Committee and/or Disciplinary Committee shall be final and binding on all participants.

2.7 No participant shall, during any League-related activity, whether on or off the field, engage in conduct unbecoming of the game or prejudicial to the reputation of the League.

2.8 The conduct prohibited under this Code may also constitute a breach of applicable laws and regulations in force in India. This Code is intended to supplement, and not override, such laws. All participants must comply with all applicable laws at all times.


3. OFFENCES UNDER THIS PREVENTION OF MALPRACTICES CODE

Any of the following acts, whether committed directly or indirectly, on or off the field, during or in connection with the League, shall constitute an offence:

  1. Providing false, misleading, incorrect, or incomplete information in the registration process.

  2. Submitting forged, falsified, or tampered documents for registration or participation.

  3. Making false or misleading declarations of any kind.

  4. Attempting to influence, manipulate, or undermine the registration process of the League.

  5. Attempting to influence, manipulate, or undermine the selection process of the League.

  6. Attempting to influence or interfere with the conduct or administration of the League.

  7. Attempting to manipulate or influence match results, performances, or outcomes.

  8. Breach or non-compliance with the Code of Conduct of the League.

  9. Failure to comply with lawful instructions issued by coaches, officials, or League staff.

  10. Acts of insubordination or deliberate non-cooperation.

  11. Misuse of confidential or inside information.

  12. Disclosure of confidential or inside information to unauthorized persons.

  13. Encouraging, inducing, or facilitating any participant or third party to commit an offence.

  14. Offering, soliciting, or accepting gifts, payments, or benefits that may bring disrepute to the League or the sport.

  15. Failure to report any approach or invitation to engage in prohibited conduct.

  16. Failure to report knowledge of any offence or suspected offence by a third party.

  17. Failure or refusal, without reasonable cause, to cooperate with investigations or provide requested information.

  18. Any attempt, agreement, or conspiracy to commit an offence shall be treated as if the offence has been committed.

  19. No offence shall be deemed to have occurred if the participant voluntarily withdraws from the attempt before discovery by an unrelated third party.

  20. A participant shall be held responsible for offences committed by their coach, manager, agent, family member, or associate if they authorized, assisted, encouraged, or knowingly failed to prevent such conduct.


4. SANCTIONS

4.1 Upon determining that an offence has been committed, the Managing Committee and/or Disciplinary Committee shall impose appropriate sanctions.

4.2 Sanctions may include warnings, suspension for a defined period, or termination of the participant’s right to participate in Cricket Banaega Name, depending on the nature and seriousness of the offence.

4.3 All disciplinary decisions shall be final, conclusive, and binding on all stakeholders.


5. AMENDMENT & INTERPRETATION

5.1 This Prevention of Malpractices Code may be amended by the Company from time to time. Amendments shall take effect from the date specified by the Company.

5.2 Headings are provided for reference only and shall not affect the interpretation of the provisions.

5.3 If any provision of this Code is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
